Okay, so I'm not going to preach at you. Music I find is an extremely personal thing. Some people like things, some don't. If you don't I'm not going to try and change your mind. But I've been listening to the new Cave-in album a lot recently. It's interesting because it proves they can do anything. Cave-in if you odn't know started off as a metalcore band who then changed to space-rock, prog-rock, pop, and then started bringing the metal back in. They truely are a fascinating band. And I'm a huge fan. Anyway I just wanted to draw your attention to a new song called Sing My Loves.

What I like about this is that it is so many things. It begins brutally. Heavy guitars, short sung verses punctuated with screams of Sing! My! Loves! but as it goes on it becomes more and more experimental. Threaded through it is the heart-wrenching beauty of singer Stephen Brodsky's voice. Again repeating sing, my loves. It manages to be beautiful, brutal and simply fascinating. Try it you might like it. If you don't then that's perfectly fine by me.
